You are looking at the Statue of Prince Charlie and Princess Shinea.
The two beings that the Duskmother created were brother and sister. First she created the eldest and smallest, Charlie, who was bright as snow in sunlight. Then she created the youngest and largest, Shinea, who was dark as ink on a new moon. Together, they filled the world of Fanterra with life, from Centaurs to Critters to the rainbow fish that cats love to eat. One day, Charlie vanished, and Shinea ventured into the swirling void to find him. Of course, these could just be fairy tales.
